He described the late Ogogo as a fine gentleman.

“We lost him. He was a fine gentleman. Apart from being a fine actor who is, as I know him, focused, and humble, someone who is a friend of the people.

“A lot of people are so much in love with him, and he’s a well-behaved person. Yes. He is someone I love so much. He was a very good person. Very good in terms of how he related with people.

“It’s so painful that we’ve lost him,” Kosoko said.

“We are taking him now to Ilaro, his hometown, because the king and the elders of Ilaro want him there. Yes, he’s from Ilaro. We are taking him down there this night. By tomorrow, 11 a.m., he will be lying in state at the pavilion in Ilaro.”
