Police in Brazil have arrested three bungee jumping operators following the death of a young woman who fell from a bridge after staff allegedly failed to attach her safety rope.
The victim, a 21-year-old woman identified in local reports, died during a rope-jumping activity at an abandoned bridge in Limeira, São Paulo state, on June 13. Investigators say she was launched from a height of about 40 metres without being properly secured to the elastic cord.
