Trump Meets Zelensky and Netanyahu Before Delivering Eulogy at Lindsey Graham’s Funeral

United States President Donald Trump met separately with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before delivering a eulogy at the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham.

During his remarks, Trump noted that world leaders from across the globe had gathered to pay their final respects to the late senator, highlighting the presence of both Zelensky and Netanyahu among the dignitaries in attendance.

The White House described Trump’s private meetings with the two leaders as “positive and productive,” although details of the discussions were not fully disclosed. Following his meeting with the US president, Zelensky said their talks focused on strengthening Ukraine’s air defence capabilities, including discussions on Patriot interceptor missile systems.

Netanyahu also confirmed that his conversation with Trump included developments involving Iran, reflecting ongoing regional security concerns. Senator Graham, who died recently, was widely recognised for his strong support of both Ukraine and Israel. Throughout his political career, he consistently advocated for continued American assistance to the two countries during their respective conflicts.

The funeral brought together political leaders, diplomats and international representatives, underscoring Graham’s longstanding influence on US foreign policy and his close relationships with allies around the world.
